Our Association

The Association started in 1993 the old name of our association was INTERSTATE GOODS TRANSPORT ASSOCIATION and first president was Shri Jagat Singh Jadeja.
In 1995 when our second and newly president take his charge Shri O P Kashayap and subimmittted document for (Regd.) in Registrar office this name already registered. So in meeting of committee members the name GANDHIDHAM GOODS TRANSPORT ASSOCIATION was approved by all the members and the name was registered in registrar office.

So Many activities have been done for the benefit of transporter. In 2004 association file in public litigation in respected Gujarat High Court to stop overloading. Because the same case was pending in Respected Supreme court so High court order and give instruction to join in Supreme Court. Association join in Supreme Court and in 2006 Supreme Courtorder come in our favor.

Due the problem of parking. so many time association demand a space from Gujarat Govt and Kandla Port Trust , because Gujarat Govt have no land in gandhidham so he feel helpless and KPT give no answer. We so many time give example of MUNDRA Port how they are providing facility to transport making good road for better services. In 2012 association member decide to purchase a land for their own cost. And allotted shop to transporter atpar cost. Association purchased land in near versana village 16.16 acres. And going to build 292 shops and parking space near about 500 trucks. This project will be completed near about in month of Dec 2016.
